Several years ago, Dustin gave Niki a box filled with 'extras', along with her regular Christmas gift. Those 'extras' have now become part of the Chipman family tradition, with a new person getting them each year. This year it was Christopher and Bri's turn.
Bryson's 9th grade science fair project was on whether or not the location of the weights on a pinewood derby car would affect the speed of the car during the race.
He made a new pinewood derby car, made arrangements for Officer Jewkes from the West Jordan Police Department to come and test the speed with the laser gun, set up the track and ran the tests. As far as they could tell...the location of the weights didn't make any difference at all.
We celebrated Bri's birthday, which is really on December 4th, on December 6th. We have a tradition of hiding the birthday presents and then giving "hot and cold" clues to the birthday person as they go in search of their gifts.
